More short dresses

So to continue with my 'how short is too short' line of thinking.... Here is a lovely little number that I picked up at Urban last summer. It barely grazes my bum and is probably inappropriate for work. It seems I am only drawn to things that are inappropriate for work, my blessing and my curse.

The Shorter the Better (dresses that is)

I went to see Phoenix last night and felt the need to channel a little Parisian chic. Scouring the blog world for the perfect concert outfit I realized how enamored I am with teeny tiny dresses, to me they are the epitome of French cuteness. My camera has unfortunately decided to act up so I don't have a record of the little black slip dress of an outfit that I eventually wore, so you'll just have to take my word for it; It was short and oh so cute.

Draped top and studded boots

Iggy Pop once said 'I am a punk rocker' - as much as I adore this man, however, I am not punk at all. I have been wearing these studded boots all winter and every so often I seem to drift into punk territory, much against my will. So I have imposed a little rule for my own peace of mind; Only wear studded boots with something girly. Hence today's choice of silky drape top.

Thinking of Spring

I've been planning all the spring fashion coverage at work and it's given me a bit of spring fever. So when I received the lookbook for the new Fairground collection I was smitten. Little floral dresses with suitably sexy cutouts or low-as-you-can-go backs. The pieces are made from limited edition vintage fabrics (right up my alley) and I love the styling on these too.. Thigh High

Late Afternoon just did a post about how sexy thighs are and I couldn't agree more. There's something so naively seductive about a milky thigh. Mine are incredibly milky at the mo, so rather than blind you all I decided to be demure and cover up a little with some polka dot tights.

Nigella (super sexy cook extraordinaire and one of my girl crushes) once described panna cotta (another of my crushes) as something that should "have the quiver of a 17th-century courtesans inner thigh" ... Food and thighs in the same thought, you can't get more flirtatious than that.
